We use a sizing system of: 6, 8, 10, 12 for our clothing based on the Australian standard sizing chart. The majority of our handmade garments will be recommended for more than one size for eg: Recommended size: 6-10. Which should accommodate anything from a size 6 and up to a 10 as most of our garments have elasticated waists that stretc out and tie up straps that can be adjusted to fit most sizes. A lot of our garments are also loose fitting and therefore again will fit most sizes depending on how the customer would like the garments to sit/fit eg loose or fitted.
Recommended sizes are specified in the product description, although please keep in mind that they are a guide only and should not be used alone to determine correct sizing. We also take extra time to provide exact measurements of all garments in product descriptions; therefore we recommend the customer compares the measurements provided to an item already owned to ensure the right fit. It is the customer's responsibility to check all measurements and sizing carefully before purchase as we do not accept returns due to wrong size. The measurements provided are in cms and measured across the garment while it is lying flat; we then double to obtain full circumference and accurate fit. For eg: if bust lying flat measures 40cms it is 80cms. HOW TO MEASURE:
- BUST/CHEST: Take the tape around your back and bring it right around across the fullest part of your bust/chest.
- WAIST: measured right around the smallest part of your waist usually about 2-3 cms above belly button.
- HIPS: Measured right around the fullest part of your hips, the buttocks and back around.
- LENGTH: Is the vertical length, from shoulder to bottom hem.
